Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation, your Nutritional Therapist will review these terms of business with you. If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask. You will be asked to sign to confirm your agreement to these terms. In your first session, we will discuss and establish the support you need. Together, we will set goals and review your progress regularly to ensure your needs are met.
Payment
- Payment is required in advance of all appointments.
- Payments can be made via BACS or through the online payment system.
Cancellations & No-Shows
- A 100% cancellation charge applies if appointments are cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.

- If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify your Nutritional Therapist, Barbara Zacharuk, as soon as possible to reschedule. You can do this by emailing info@nutrikin.co.uk.

Working with Multiple Consultants
Your Nutritional Therapist may suggest you see other wellness professionals to support your goals. Information about your symptoms and condition may be shared securely between team members to provide you with a coordinated treatment plan. Your Nutritional Therapist will ask for your informed consent before sharing any information and will ensure that anything you wish to remain confidential is respected.
Scope of Practice
- NutriKin practitioners follow the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) ethical framework.
- Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science to promote health, peak performance, and personalised care.
- Nutritional Therapy practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances that may contribute to symptoms and health concerns.
- Nutritional Therapy is a complementary practice that works alongside medical advice, addressing nutritional imbalances to support the body’s natural processes.
- Nutritional advice is tailored to each client, focusing on their unique health concerns and goals.
- Nutritional Therapy will never replace medical advice, and we will always refer clients with red-flag symptoms to a medical professional. We frequently collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.
Important Notes for Clients

- Nutritional Therapists do not diagnose or claim to treat medical conditions.
- Nutritional advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
- Food supplements and/or functional testing may be recommended as part of your programme; your therapist may receive a commission from these products or services.
